Lawrence Whatley has joined Professional Building Services (PBS) as president.
PBS, headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, offers a full range of trade and turn services and solutions for the multifamily construction and property management industry. In addition to full apartment turns, carpet and flooring installations, and complete rebuilding and remodeling services, PBS also provides clients with assistance in insurance claim reconstruction and rebuilds from all types of damage. PBS offers multiple services for new multifamily construction: concrete, wood framing, drywall, painting, siding and masonry, flooring, and hardscape installation. It is a member of the Arlington family of companies.
“As a senior construction executive, Lawrence brings decades of multifamily and general construction experience with him to PBS,” said Tai Cripps, president of Arlington Construction Services (ACS). “We are excited that he is now quarterbacking an already strong leadership team.”
Whatley comes to PBS from Encompass Health, where he was vice president of design and construction. A graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Whatley is also a Kappa Alpha Psi member. He currently serves on the REV Birmingham Board of Directors and the Vulcan Park & Museum Facilities Committee.
