Community
Arlington Properties is committed to serving the needs of the broader communities where we live and work. We accomplish this by being a loyal and supportive corporate citizen, giving back to the cities and locales where our residents further their careers, develop friendships, start and raise families, and advance their lives. Our employees are encouraged to take paid time off to participate in community service activities. Arlington supports The United Way and various other nonprofits, in each community. Ronald McDonald House Charities
THANKS to Affinity Waste Solutions for including Arlington Properties team members Danielle Joyce, The Pointe on Westshore, and Matthew Ventrice, Tapestry Cypress Creek, in an exciting community service project for the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) – St. Petersburg, “East House” Tampa Bay.
“Volunteering at the St. Petersburg “East House” was an honor and a humbling experience, said Matthew, community manager at Tapestry Cypress Creek. We were able to cook and serve a home-cooked meal for families staying at the house while their children received lifesaving treatment at local area hospitals.”

Arlington Properties team members celebrated Onsite Teams Day with an afternoon of bowling and fun on Wednesday, July, 20, as they joined in the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) Apartment activities during Residential Property Management (RPM) Careers Week, July 18-22, 2022.
“Arlington Properties property management professionals have committed themselves to perform the vital work necessary to keep our apartment communities thriving. Velo Shelby Farms Collects Prom Dresses for Couture Cares
In February, residents and the leasing team at Velo Shelby Farms, Memphis, TN, came together for a great cause, collecting 32 prom dresses for Couture Cares, a Memphis 501c3 whose focus is on empowering youth.
Devin Quigley, community manager at Velo, put out the call to residents asking them to “purge their closets for a purpose,” saying, “alone we can do very little… but together, as a community… we can do so much.”
And that they did, collecting gently worn prom and party dresses, excited that a young woman who wanted to attend prom would have the opportunity to do so.

Arlington Properties Knocks it Out of the Ball Park for United Way
Pacesetter Campaign 2017 Raising $125,581
Arlington strives to make each campaign more successful than the last. We enable employees to give back to their local community through the United Way and are currently able to draw employee support from seven southeastern states.
Arlington has an annual tradition to tour and volunteer at one of the local non-profit organizations that benefit directly from United Way. These experiences are invaluable and are a great team building exercise that we look forward to each year. We believe that in order to better the communities we serve, we must start from within.
