BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Aug. 24, 2026) — Arlington Properties is pleased to announce the promotion of Mayte Abarca to Regional Manager, celebrating her nine-year career with the company and the leadership, dedication, and commitment to people she has demonstrated along the way.

Mayte joined Arlington Properties in 2017 as an Assistant Community Manager and quickly advanced to Community Manager just two months later. Over the past nine years, she has continued to grow within the organization, taking on new challenges and leadership opportunities while building strong relationships with her teams and communities.

Most recently, Mayte served as an Area Manager, overseeing properties throughout Baton Rouge and Biloxi, Mississippi. Her ability to lead across multiple markets, develop strong teams, and drive operational success has prepared her well for this next step in her career.

In her new role as Regional Manager, Mayte will continue overseeing her existing portfolio while expanding her responsibilities to include additional assets in the Mobile, Alabama, market.

Outside of work, Mayte is a proud mother to her 18-year-old daughter, who is beginning her college journey at Southeastern Louisiana University.
