National Resident Matching Program, “The Match,” Friday, March 17

As part of the National Resident Matching Program, each March, medical students from across the country learn where they will be spending the next four to five years for their medical residency. “The Match” process usually results in an applicant moving from their current city or state to their new medical school. With a variety of Arlington’s apartment communities near prominent medical colleges and universities, Arlington Properties is poised to assist medical residents in finding their perfect residence.

Arlington offers studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes with varied floor plans and amenities and, depending on the location, high-speed internet, 24-hour fitness centers, in-unit washers and dryers, free coffee stations in our clubhouses, and plenty of pet-friendly perks.

The National Resident Matching Program® (NRMP®), or The Match®, is a private, non-profit organization established in 1952 at the request of medical students to provide an orderly and fair mechanism for matching the preferences of applicants for U.S. residency positions with the preferences of residency program directors.

Apartment communities in the Arlington Properties portfolio near colleges and universities participating in “The Match” includes those in Little Rock, Arkansas; Birmingham and Mobile, Alabama; Tampa and Orlando, Florida; Atlanta and Alpharetta, Georgia; Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky; Jackson, Mississippi; Greenville, Durham, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina; Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio; Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; and Hampton Roads, Virginia.
