Arlington Properties Raises $117,247 During United Way Pacesetter Campaign

For over 20 years, Arlington Properties has joined forces with United Way to help make a positive impact in local communities. This year, Arlington kicked off its participation in the 2018 United Way of Central Alabama Pacesetter Campaign along with sixty-six other corporations, businesses, hospitals and non-profits to help fulfill United Way’s mission, which is; the belief that everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life, a quality education that leads to a stable job, and enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

“Arlington is consistently in the upper echelons of giving among real estate and construction companies and this year was no different,” said Arlington Properties president, Jim Dixon. “Thanks to the hard work of Trey Barnes, Jesse Lincoln and Stringer Vogtle, and the generosity of all of our team members, Arlington surpassed its 2018 giving totals by raising a total of $117,247 for United Way.”

The United Way supports many different charity organizations, making them an ideal agency for Arlington to support. It is consistently in the top ten percent of all charity organizations in the U.S., giving 98% of the monies received to charities under their umbrella. “This is very uncommon and demonstrates a commitment to truly helping the disadvantaged in our communities.”
